THE TANK THAT STARTED IT ALL!!

This is the tiny tank I purchaced to keep a single Betta in, little did I know it was going to start a massive investment in many other tanks very soon.

This small tank was definatly a challenge. With the low water volume I had to keep up with water changes and testing over the first few months to keep the betta happy. It worked well while I used it and Mr Betta live happily in there with his plants and snail friends, untill he was eventually upgraded to his new home.

This tank has now been shut down. Currently deciding what I could use it for.

5 October 2019 - Tank shutdown due to moving Betta to new Planted 70L tank.

30 July 2019 - The only really notable event whilst having this small tank was that Betta decided to one day jump from the tank while I was doing a small water change and had removed his lid. I wasnt able to find him for a good 5mins as he was stuck to the wall behind the tank!

Thankfully he fully recovered and is still alive today, but it did tank him about 4 weeks to start getting back to good health. We medicated him for any basterial inections due to him loosing a lot of scales and fins from being peeled off the wall. Below are some images from the day through to his recovery.
